Maths for journalists I - Want to make your first steps in data journalism but do not know where to begin? Start here, with Excel. This first workshop introduces Excel's main functions for spreadsheet-driven reporting.

Participants using MACs must install Excel 2016 or newer versions. Older versions will not be sufficient, nor will Google spreadsheets, Excel online of Excel on tablets.

  • You need: Excel 2007 or newer for PCs. Excel 2016 for MACs.
  • What will not be enough: Excel online, Google spreadsheets, Libra, Numbers
